Clearly, when choosing a field to research in grad school, I chose poorly. Despite my deep intellectual curiosity about whether or not sex with bald chemical engineering grad students could in fact stop global warming, I found few people willing to sponsor (and even fewer co-eds willing to participate in) further study. Seems like those cancer fighters are having much better luck.
